Edd introduced me to a tool that was useful that I haven’t heard about before. I’ve created a list of some of the ones I often use and the link below:
https://hubandspoke.amastelek.com/tools
Hit me with the best nuggets I’m missing. I want to add a category of recommended but not tested.
Pretty most of the tools I used here, it is an appreciated effort to have them all in one single location for easy reference.
Maybe you should consider indicating whether the service is free or paid.
I also use the following tools but I did not see them mentioned: e.g. ping.pe , traceroute-online.com, WHALEBONE, ripe looking glass among others

Good idea. I’ve put a money emoji next to the paid ones. Mostly I have ones that don’t drain my wallet. 😊

You talking about this? https://www.whalebone.io/ Never heard of it but sounds like Umbrella and Control D.
There is a category of tools I’ve used and then sunsetted. Things like Elastiflow and NTopNG. Might still be useful for other people to investigate for themselves?
It's a paid DNS and yes the link is correct

quad9 has been available in nigeria since 2018 (at least) and it works well from reports i have from other operators there. i don’t recall that they are outside of lagos yet though; which, iirc, was your issue.
if you want to send me traceroutes unicast, i can look at them when i have spare cycles. although if you want faster answers, you should ping the quad9 support folks first :-)

Thanks, I'll look into it. and if you wish to have hosts in Abuja, sokoto and Kano states we will be glad to do that
