Hi Everyone
We’re excited to announce that ZANOG 2026 (South African Network Operators Group) will take place in Irene, Gauteng, from 21–23 April 2026.
ZANOG brings together network engineers, operators, architects, and decision-makers to share practical experience from running real networks — the wins, the failures, and everything learned along the way.
The Call for Papers is now open.
For ZANOG 2026, we’re particularly interested in operationally focused talks and case studies, including (but not limited to):
• Network operations and troubleshooting in production environments • Automation and tooling for day-to-day network operations • Monitoring, observability, and incident response • IPv6 deployment, migration, and operational lessons • Routing operations, BGP hygiene, RPKI, and MANRS • Security operations and network resilience • Scaling networks: people, process, and technology • Lessons learned from outages, migrations, or major changes We welcome full talks, lightning talks, panels, and experience reports, and we strongly encourage submissions from operators of all sizes — ISPs, enterprises, content networks, and infrastructure providers.
ZANOG is a community-driven, non-commercial event. Speakers do not pay to present, and attendance is free for participants.
Submission deadline: 27 February 2026
Submit your proposal here: https://events.nog.net.za/event/75/
We’re looking forward to another great ZANOG, shaped by the people who build and operate South Africa’s networks every day.
Kind regards,
ZANOG Programme Committee
