Originally accepted in June 2001 (read more on the ten fundamental principles<https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/new-rirs-criteria-2012-02-25-en>), ICP-2 has provided crucial guidelines for maintaining the accountability and effectiveness of the RIR system. In October 2023, the NRO EC tasked the ASO AC with two major initiatives to strengthen the RIR framework: 1. ICP-2 Implementation Procedures: Assisting the NRO EC in drafting procedures for validating and monitoring ongoing RIR compliance with ICP-2. 2. Strengthening ICP-2: Managing the process to update ICP-2 in 2024/2025 to provide a more robust accountability mechanism for the RIR system. ZANOG Call For PC Volunteers,

The annual ZANOG meeting is a two-day technical event to engage discussion in the technical community. The ZANOG Programme Committee is seeking volunteers from the community to join the ZANOG Program Committee for a 3-year term. Eligibility: Anyone interested in the technical operations ecosystem and is willing to volunteer some time and expertise to the cause of ZANOG can apply. There are no restrictions. However, preference will be given to applicants who have attended at least one previous localised ZANOG or iWeek technical event. Anybody else that is/have tested similar and could share advice on locally (ie. South African) sourceable parts ?
